Hermes Birkin Prices; How Much do Hermes Birkin Purses Cost?

July 22nd, 2011

Hermes Birkin purse prices vary a great deal
The average Hermes Birkin price is really very dependent on who and where you are going to buy Hermes Birkin purses from.

If you buy a Hermes Birkin purse directly from the company, you may actually be looking at paying less for the designer handbag than you would if you were to buy from a reseller.

How much do Hermes Birkin purses cost?
If you get on the Hermes Birkin waitlist, or purchase the handbag directly from the company you are likely looking at a Hermes Birkin price of 00-00. There used to be a Hermes Birkin waitlist for every time that you wanted to buy the designer handbag, but in the last couple of years there has been speculation that the waitlist was just a ploy to drive up perceived demand and increase sales. Nonetheless, people still pay a pretty penny for Hermes Birkin bags, despite their skyhigh prices.

The Hermes Birkin bag prices listed above are really quite cheap compared to what the bags sometimes sell for. For example, it is not uncommon for Hermes Birkin purse prices to vary more in the range of ,000-,000.

Hermes Birkin has been around for quite a while. They have a very strong following among those who like to splurge on their purse purchases, and celebrities, which only seem to drive up their sales more.

If you think that a Hermes Birkin cost of a round ,000 is high, just wait until you see the price tag or those that are made custom, or out of special material.

Some Hermes Birkin costs have been driven up well over 0,000, either because they were made especially custom for someone specific, or because of the materials that they were constructed from (which makes you wonder exactly what’s that expensive per pound or square inch!).

What do you think? Would you pay ,000 for a Hermes Birkin purse? What about over 100 grand? For the more frugal folks out there, would you even ever pay 00 for a designer purse? It is interesting to see what people in our society are willing to splurge on; people never cease to amaze me!

Discount Designer Purses

July 19th, 2011

Love the Gucci on display? Can’t resist the Chanel you saw your coworker carrying? Have the perfect outfit to go with that Dior? But can’t afford any of them? Welcome to the world of discount designer purses. Here, we teach you what to do and how to acquire designer handbags for cheaper than a retail value that will leave a dent in your credit card for the next couple of years.

Everyone knows about sales. They are the fashion conscious woman’s best friend. But don’t you get tired of going through all the rush and hassle of having to fight through hoards of excited females during these sales? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get the bag you want without having to fight for it? This is why some retailers like Saks 5th Avenue have started a trend of presales.

Women on the lookout for sales will know when to look for a presale (literally, a week or so before the start of the sale) and buy their dream handbag at discount prices. They can thus avoid the hustle and bustle of the usual clearance sales and still get their discount designer purses. Now you can have your cake and eat it too!

Another amazing way to save time and money while getting a hold of discount designer purses is by signing up for notifications online. Keep a track of when your favorite purse hits the sales and if you can get it earlier at rock bottom prices somewhere else. Shopping online has never been more convenient! If you sign up for an online designer purse website, they will sometimes offer you something you might like on their own – thus expanding your shopping horizons as well.

Now as cliché as it might sound, going to eBay or Bonanzle might not be such a bad idea. You might think buying a second hand purse would mean getting a low quality, used to the hilt handbag, but most often this is not the case. Designer purses cost quite a substantial amount, and so anyone who uses them knows to take good care of them, such as keeping the leather clean, storing the bags in dustbags, taking care of belts and buckles, etc. So most of the time, you can get a good deal on discount designer purses on eBay as well. Just make sure you look through some pictures of the purse in question and it displays the logo of the brand it claims to be. Ask for more pictures to determine the quality of the discounted designer purse.

If you are too nitpicky for eBay, you might want to consider consignment shops. These are shops like Ann’s Fabulous Finds and Malleries that are basically places for the rich and spoilt to dump their designer belongings. Most of the items for sale here have been scarcely used, and consignment shops take great pains to make sure their products meet a certain quality level. Shopping at these places, you can get discount designer purses that have scarcely been used.

How to Make a Felt Change Purse

July 18th, 2011

A felt change purse is a great beginner’s sew project. It does not require a sewing machine, and it is very inexpensive and simple to create. These little purses can be customized, and they come in handy. This project is great for girl’s birthday parties, and it is a fun craft to create at home. This article will teach you how to make cute and funky little change purses out of felt.

For this project you will need a small piece of felt that measures about 8 inches by 4 inches. You will also need a needle and embroidery thread. Scissors are important, and you will need a single button. Remember to use colors that work well together. Using blue felt and white thread looks nice with a purple button, and green thread looks good with yellow felt and an orange button.

Now cut a small slit horizontally in the felt fabric. This will be your button hole so it needs to be close to one of the ends of the strip of felt. Remember to make sure the hole is big enough that the button can fit through it. Next sew a few stitches on each side of the hole, and this will make sure that the hole is secure. Now above the hole will be the top part of the change purse. You can customize this purse by embroidering a word or picture on the top part. This is simple, and can be accomplished easily by drawing the picture on the felt with a marker first. Next use the thread to highlight the image by sewing stitches over the colored parts. You can write your name here if you like for a personal touch.

Next fold the bottom of the felt up so that the top flap covers the bottom pouch. Using a pen you should mark the hole for the button on the underside of the purse. Now sew your favorite button to this spot and tie it securely on the inside. Make sure the button and the hole will line up by attaching them; this will also make sewing the rest of the project easier. Now sew the two edges together using a simple straight stitch; you should go over this stitch a couple of times to make sure the sides are secure. Sew the other side in the same manner and your purse is complete.

This craft is quick and easy, and it can be a fun way to spend time with your daughter or friends while making useful and custom gifts. I hope you have enjoyed this project!

A Buying Guide For Top Quality Faux Chanel, Louis, Juicy Handbags and Purses

July 11th, 2011

Bargain hunting is so much fun and what girl doesn’t love to go shopping? The problem is that the most fun items to shop for are coture and are way out of most peoples’ price range. Just because you can’t afford a purse straight off the runway doesn’t mean you can’t have it! Let’s shop for top quality faux Chanel, Juicy and Louis purses and handbags!

Maybe some people would disagree with me but I find the elite, too-good-for-you fashionistas and designers repulsive. How arrogant you must be to charge thousands of dollars for something that can be made…even with the cream of the crop materials…for a couple of hundred max. Then the crowd that follows them and (ugh) worships them are another story…pure self-absorption and arrogance. Sure, the fashion and purses and shoes are gorgeous…but worth the price tag, um, NO.

If you want the look of a real designer but don’t care about the ego that goes with it, then you would benefit from a nice faux bag. There are many websites, mostly out of China, that offer TOP QUALITY designer imposter handbags and purses. You can look at it from a high brow point of view but before you do, consider a few things. Those designers are so rich they couldn’t care less if you buy their purse or not. The Chinese people you will be buying from are working for pennies and it’s the only work they can find. Who would you rather help out with your business? So, unless you are a serious handbag collector or completely self absorbed then why would you rather put your money into a bazillionaires pockets when you can get something that looks just like couture while helping people who really need the money and saving yourself some money for things that really matter?

Some of the websites I have ordered from are listed below. Keep in mind that I have taken my faux bag into retail boutiques and the sales girls had no idea it wasn’t real. These are top quality replicas. Not only are they dead on but they are also made from great materials and constructed with quality and care. I’ll never waste my money on the real thing again!

Make a Hoodie Purse

July 10th, 2011

If you have a favorite hoodie (hooded sweatshirt) that doesn’t fit well anymore or has seen better days but you are unwilling to get rid of it, you could make it into a simple and fun purse. Even if you don’t currently have a hoodie you can pick up something cute and cheap at a thrift store and turn it into a unique purse. With very minimal sewing you can create a fun and unique purse.

Depending on the size of purse you want in the end will decide what size hoodie to start with. In most cases a small will work just fine. However if you prefer smaller purses consider looking for a child’s hoodie. Some hoodies have hand pockets on the bottom of the front of the shirt, if you want to keep those then you will want to not cut anything off from the bottom of your hoodie. However, many of those pockets make it pretty easy to loose anything in those pockets so if you keep them consider sewing up the opening a bit to make the pockets more secure. If you want to shorten your hoodie and there either isn’t pockets or you don’t care much about the pockets then you can cut some of the bottom off and potentially use that fabric to sew into the hoodie back to create an extra pocket.

Start with turning your hoodie inside out and even up the bottom of the sweatshirt. Holding it all straight sew across the bottom of the sweatshirt, all the way across, very sturdy since this will be the bottom of your purse. Turn the hoodie back right side out. Lay your hoodie flat and pull the sleeves up above the sweatshirt. Overlap the sleeve ends, these will be sewed together to create your handles for your purse.

With the bottom sewed closed and the sleeves sewed together to create the handles, you are basically done. The hood part of the sweatshirt will naturally hang over the neck opening to close the purse. If you are more craft inclined you can add pockets or embellishments. This is a great project for a beginning sewer and is especially great for teens to reuse their favorite hoodie. In just a very short time you can create a unique and fun purse!

Organize Your Purse

July 10th, 2011

Have you ever pulled your keys out of your purse, and had a “feminine hygiene product” come tumbling out with them? How about reaching for your lipstick and finding that the cap had come off and everything else in your bag is now red.

Purse predicaments have happened to everyone.

Our handbags are catch-alls for busy days, in lives sometimes filled with overwhelm.

A few simple steps to de-clutter and update our bags, once a month, will help to avoid calamity.

1) Empty your bag onto a table. Put some paper down on the table so that you don’t mar the surface. If you’re like me, you’ve got some heavy stuff in there. Now shake the empty bag out over the trash can to get all the dust out of there.

2) Separate things into piles. There is usually trash to be thrown out: old receipts, ticket stubs, gum wrappers, etc.

There will be things that don’t need to be in your purse all the time: your umbrella, nail polish or a giant hair brush. There will also be duplicate items: 4 lipsticks, 7 pens, and 2 make-up mirrors. Then there is your wallet, several loose credit cards, a pile of change from the bottom of the bag, and some postage stamps.

3) Put the piles away. Trash goes into the trash. Things that don’t need to be carried all the time should be put in a closet or drawer until needed. You only need 1 pen (2 at the most). Only carry the makeup that you are currently wearing, and put the rest in your cosmetic case at home.

4) Place your make-up items in a small zippered case, and put the case back in your bag. Remember to include your feminine hygiene products in here.

5) Store other small items in compartments in your purse.

6) Organize your wallet.

Make sure to have your driver’s license in a handy spot. Only carry the credit and debit cards (1 or 2) that you actually use. Do not carry a lot of change, as it will weigh you down. If you still use checks, carry one or two for emergencies, but don’t carry your whole checkbook with you.

Once your handbag is neatly organized, pay attention to these tips:

Try to clean out your purse at least once a month.

Never put unwrapped food in your purse.

Always look at receipts before you throw them away. There might be something important on them. When you have expensive items on them, it’s best to keep them in a receipt file, or better yet, scan them into a paperless file.

If you have a big bag that you love, with few or no compartments, think about getting a purse organizer. They are very handy and can be taken out of one purse (with all of its contents) and put in another. You’ll never have the “oh, I left my keys in my other bag” problem again!

What’s The Most Important to Your Purse?

July 3rd, 2011

Thousands of purses are on sale in our market nowadays. They have different designs, different brands, different sizes and so forth. A purse has its own advantages and disadvantages. Thererfore, it is difficult for us to choose the right one.     Some people go for the famous brands, such as LV, GUCCI, PRADA and so on. For them, the brand is more important than the others. Without doubt, those purses have high quality, good reputation, and excellent service. What’s more, they believe that famous brands can improve their position and taste to some degree. At the same time, someone think the price is the decider, because they have no enough money to afford the expensive purse. All in all, different people pay attention to different aspects of a purse. As far as I’m concerned, the practicality is the crucial aspect.   What’s the practicality? It contains three aspects in my mind, the normal design, the reasonable price and the equitable quality. The normal design means the simple and plain look. I don’t expect how magnificent and dazzling the look is. A purse for me is a thing that makes me convenient to put into or out money and cards. So I hope that I can put everything what I need into the purse. As a postgraduate, I can’t afford an expensive purse or to change my purse too often. Therfore, the price and the quality are very important, as well. An old saying goes, the higher is the price, the better is the quality of the merchandise. Generally speaking, the price of my purse is between 50 and 100 yuan, and I change my purse once a year. This kind of purses is very practical for me.   Since there are so many purses on the market, every purse has its own appreciator. The main task for a consumer is choose the most appropriate one for himself. And I am concerned about the practicality of a purse.

The author ardently advise you to use the best dior ring provided by professional seller. Such sales can be reached at http://www.hihandbag.biz
